Have you lost your mind? ...is what I'm usually asked when I say that I like to do wedding photography for free. I can assure you, I have not lost my mind. Or, I don't think so anyway. I just love what I do and I want to share that with everybody. I know it is in stark contrast of our capitalistic society that tries to squeeze a penny out of every possible niche, but it's also ok not to seek out money, right? What's wrong with wanting to do something nice for your fellow humans is my motto. So, after significant deliberation, I have decided to "walk the walk" and am now advertising that I will be doing three weddings per year for zilch, nothing, nada! I'm so happy to do this too! I want to give to my community and this is just another way for me to do so.
For those couples who miss out on the free wedding packages, I will now also be offering a sliding scale. Everybody should have access to high quality photography in my opinion. And so, I'm doing something about that.
